March week 5 - In All Labour there is Profit

Easter
One present about Jesus for around $5 for each of them.
Simple.

They loved it.

We looked up ten scriptures related to each of these objects - and Jesus' resurrection.

Playing frisbee golf with grandpa!

Yummy Easter dinner with the grandparents.

Snow!

That means full snow suits right?
(Even though it is forty degrees and it all melted within a few hours)

The kids made a play of Virginia Lee Burton's
"A Little House"
This is just the end - the whole play was ten minutes or more.

Sibling love. Learning love.
I love this picture.

I guess this is the same sibling and learning love, just not so endearing to me.
I should probably embrace technology more.

Troy helping Dad sand the new bedroom.

Cash helping.

Paul...walking in circles with a bucket on his head

Jade cleaning up the dust.

Troy had to stay home from school because he was coughing so much.

Fun having him home

Mom's study time.

Cash was inspired by the movie about sled dogs.
He now pulls his brother around in anything he can find.

Hiking time!

I love the mountain!

This spot was nearly magical.

A "gulch" - just what we were looking for.

We finished this last week.  LOVED it.  Just as good as the first one to us.

Helping mud the 'bee' room

Helping cover the screw holes

Doing the real work

'I'm helping, too.'

Time for...

General Conference!

Paul's got his arm around 'baby brother', so to speak.

And after some down time watching General Conference...

it's time to spread horse manure all over the garden!

Troy (8 years old) driving the truck and trailer

Cash: "Now we are REALLY farmers!"

Back to General Conference

Beautiful Springtime

Time to plow

and ride the 4-wheeler

and the motorcycle

Here is one your size, Paul.

Life is good.

Scripture: Proverbs 14:23 "In all labour there is profit; but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
Song: Today while the sun shines work with a will.
Today all your duties with patience fulfill.
Today while the birds sing harbor no care.
Call life a good life. Call the world fair.
