March - week 3 The Truth Shall Make You Free

My phone broke - and lost several weeks of pictures.
I also have been in a rough state emotionally for awhile anyway.
Glad to be moving on and back in the game again.

At the rodeo

Troy jumped in the air to catch a glow stick - gave it to Jade and grabbed one off the ground for himself.

The three are down there waiting for the chicken chase

Good news about having to get a new phone is:
videos work on the blog now!

Great times

It seems like when I start applying TJEd I get passion and purpose back in my life.
Everyone has their own way of holding it together I suppose.
Thursday Greg spoke at a fireside on the Title of Liberty and the upcoming election.
We went to a high school play called "Annie, Jr.", which was a great time.
I read the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which was excellent.

Scripture: John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Our family motto: Mathews are Happy Helpful Hard-working and Honest
I thought of a few more H-words this week

sometimes I take a picture after mopping a floor, knowing it will only look that way for about as long as it takes to snap the picture.

We just finished reading
Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder
and me and my three oldest (ages 4 to 8) LOVED it.
They stayed interested the whole time and more importantly we had some great discussions about the great lessons that were in it.

It is time for us to enter the world of
Star Wars.
It was good :) Troy loved it.

This picture book was worth reading again:
Old Turtle and the Broken Truth by Douglas Wood

Scripture of the week: 2 Samuel 22:2-3 "And he said, The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my rock, in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my Saviour; thou savest me from violence."
